Frequently Asked Questions

The First Presentation
Why Does It Take Ninety Minutes?

It doesn’t always but we suggest you allow this long so we can comfortably cover everything you need to know in the one session. Indextra® strategies are quite different to most people’s past experiences and the traditional ways they manage their money.

It also helps with planning for parking meters and other transport arrangements.

What Happens At The First Presentation?

First of all it is not a selling session! No one is asked to buy. In fact we recognise that Indextra is not for everyone.

The purpose of this explanatory meeting is to provide sufficient information to decide whether Indextra is for you. You are encouraged to ask questions at any time. During this session you will have the opportunity to open a live trade and monitor that trade over the next 7 days. If people are pleased with what they hear and see, they are invited to a second interview.

Why Do You Say To Bring Others?

Most of us have people to whom we turn for comfort in our decision making e.g. family, friends and professional advisers. The reason that we encourage you to bring them along is simply the nature of the Indextra strategies. If your partner and or advisers see the strategies with you then they can discuss them with you after you leave us and give you proper advice or comfort to assist you in your decision making process.

If they do not attend you will not be able to satisfactorily explain the strategies to them nor answer all of their questions. If we don’t understand something we naturally urge caution. You will not receive the comfort you seek and will simply have wasted your time and perhaps missed out on the opportunity to create an alternative income source.

We are totally open at the Institute. We want everyone to know about our strategies. If you want to take full advantage of your time at the first interview please bring your partners/advisers with you. They usually have questions that you may not have thought of and the appropriate answers can be given. This is another reason we encourage their attendance.
The Second Session
Why A Second Session?

If you are like most people you will have thought of another question within five minutes of leaving the Indextra Institute. Usually people think of several more over the next few days. We encourage you to write these down together with the pros and cons you see about Indextra being for you and bring your list to the second session usually held within a week of the first presentation while its fresh in your mind.

Like the first presentation this is not a group session. It is also not a selling session but a one-on-one information sharing session and an opportunity to review the trade you opened in the first session.

This session is with Jim Newman, the originator of Indextra so all your questions will be answered. Jim also conducts the training so it is also important for you to confirm that both you and Jim can work together amiably in the training sessions.

  Can Partners/Advisers Attend This Session?

Certainly! For the same reasons that your partner and or advisers should attend the first.

Isn’t Two Sessions a Cumbersome Way To Go About It?

Well it may be and we agree, it may not be the most efficient way but we and our graduates have found it the most effective. It would certainly be cheaper to conduct group sessions. However, it may be difficult for people and their advisers in group sessions to ask those hard questions. Some people feel inhibited in a group situation and don’t verbalise their questions and thoughts. That is why we do not conduct seminars although in many respects this is what Jim’s weekly radio programs are.

The two sessions allow time for you to make a well thought out, deliberate decision. Not a spur of the moment one based on a possible misunderstanding. Most people are very appreciative of our no pressure, information based approach.
How Long Does It Take?      Usually 60 – 90 minutes depending on the number and type of questions that you have.

The 3MP Indextra® Trades What are these?

Soon after Jim started his 3MP program in November 2002 presenter Peter McInnes gave him the target of turning a notional $10,000 into $50,000 within five years. There were only two conditions. That, only low risk strategies were to be used and taxation paid at the superannuation fund rate. The first trade took place in January 2003.

At the end of 2003 the working capital stood at $18,639. An 86.39% return before or 71% after tax ($17,100).

By year end 2004 this had increased to $29,974. A 74% return for the year before or 63% after tax ($27,900).

At the end of 2005 the total was $46,080.

Jim achieved his target, the week ending 11th March  2006, with twenty-one months to spare.
